International wine critic James Suckling has named Octagon 2016

to his list of  Top 100 American Wines for 2018,  selected from critical

tastings throughout the year, of more than 3,300 wines from every

part of the country. Through January 31, 2019, we present this vin-

tage for preview tasting and purchase, at the winery and our online

wine shop, with final release scheduled for Summer, 2020. 

Mr. Suckling's report of an intensive wine tasting conducted at

our winery this October, of wines from all regions of the country

outside the Pacific Coast, formed the basis of his now-famous dis-

covery of "An American Wine Revolution," reported here.
